In the TNCA Age group under 14, I round match, at Valivalam Desikar Polytechnic, Nagapattinam, Nagapattinam DCA played against Namakkal DCA.

Nagai won the toss and chose to field. Namakkal DCA were bowled for 19 in 8.3 overs. S.Syed Aziz and Kathiravan shared 5 wickets each for 7 & 9 respectively for Nagapattinam.

Nagapattinam scored 20/1 in 6 overs. Nagapattinam won the match by 9 wickets with a bonus point and topped the zone.
In the same zone at SBAT Mini Stadium, Poraiyur, Theni Played against Tirunelveli DCA. Theni won the toss and chose to bat. Theni DCA scored 102 in 49.5 overs. M. Surya and G. Sriram picked 3 wickets each for 22 & 18 for Tirunelveli DCA. Tirunelveli DCA chased down the target in 16.2 overs with no loss of wickets. G. Sriram did the starer for Tirunelveli scoring an unbeaten 80. Tirunelveli DCA won the match by 10 wickets with a bonus point as well and qualified for the next round.
