Welcome to My Match Report – 06.07.2014 Friends!!
Come on Friends! Let us watch the report of the match played on 06.07.2014 at Tea Public School between Tirupur Cricket Club and Stadium Cricket Academy. It was a DCAT (District Cricket Association of Tirupur) 1st division cricket league match. The match was delayed due to overnight rain and the overs were reduced to 42 overs per side.

Toss for the choice of Innings
Tirupur Cricket Club won the toss and surprisingly elected to bat first.
It was a bad decision to choose batting first as per my experience; it’s like thrown away their luck of choice!
The delayed matches are always dangerous for the players to adopt the situation. Stadium Cricket Academy bowled well and picked quick wickets from Over No.3 which forced us to witness a low scoring match.

Late Wickets picked up by Mohammed Rabeek and Hemanth Kumar could not able to stop Stadium Cricket Academy from reaching the target. Balamurugan (35) and Saravanan (35 Not out) lead their team to victory. Stadium CA won by 7 wickets.

Finally and as usual, I had umpired with Mr. R. Saravanan who is umpiring matches for DCAT since 2012.
