In the Eastern Province Cricket Association (EPCA) – AlTurki Main League Premier Division match, Pak Saudi beat SCPCO by 3 wickets

 

PAK SAUDI continuing their winning streak beat SCPCO. SCPCO Batting first, their opener Shehzad a promising player made 62 of 52, Iftikhar made 61 of 67 and Hameed hit an quick fire 63 of 36 balls helped SCPCO to post a total of 283. Every bowler bowled some tight line and it was a complete team effort; every one of them contributed; Asif claimed 2 wickets. In reply, PAK Saudi‘s every batsman contributed especially Mohammed Shafeeq scored 64 of 66, Mohammed Shaqib made 46 and Mohammed Shafeeq (Jr) scored 48 helped Pak Saudi to achieve the target as 286/7 in 34th over itself.

NAQI Strikers without the services of the experienced & senior players won against Marooj RawanMarooj Rawan scored 335 for 7 in 40 overs. Rizwan Haider made 86 and it was Ajmal Khan at the end scored a quick fire 107 in 55 balls with 9 Boundaries and 8 Sixers. He was well supported by stand in Skipper Abbas Hussain 45. Veteran Left arm Orthodox Majaz Qadri and Nasir Hussain claimed two wickets each. Naqi Strikers‘ openers Mumtaz made 69 and Furqan 38 put a century stand. Young Nawazish Jezuli scored his maiden unbeaten century of 106 in 57 balls and he was supported by Ashaar Zahid (41), an young left hand batsmen helped to achieve the target in the last over.
