Welcome to My Match Report – 27.06.2014 Friends!
Today we are going to TNCA Inter Districts tournament for age group under 25 played in the Salem Zone on 27.06.2014 !!
The first round of matches was played between the hosts – Salem DCA and Namakkal DCA, Karur DCA and Pudukkottai DCA from 27.06.2014 to 29.06.2014. The top two teams from the zone advanced to the next round.
This time I could not introduce the teams to you. But Let us have some details about the match.

And my partners in this tour were
I had umpired in Periyar ‘B’ ground. Namakkal District Cricket Association Under 25 team won the toss and elected to bat against Karur DCA.

Living being in the Cricket Ground
The game might be played in the ground but in the world of them who were tiny.
Namakkal DCA managed to score 201 in 44.5 overs with some useful contributions from S. Karthick (45), E. Parthiban (40) and Captain P. Mohan Kumar. R. Pavithran and C.K. Harish took 3 wickets each for Karur DCA

Bud in Cricket Ground
The ground which is green is the wonderful residence for tiny insects and flies. But the play – game is really dangerous for their lives which I witnessed. Many Caterpillars got crushed in the Shoes of the players.

C.K Harish alone managed to score 30 against a decent bowling and fielding side. K. Karthikeyan picked 4 Wickets and M. Prabhakaran picked 3 Wickets for Namakkal DCA
Karur DCA could only managed to score 98. Namakkal DCA won the match with Bonus point.
As usual, final touch of the report is about my partner in today’s match. I had umpired with my batchmate Mr. R. Arun Kumar of Coimbatore and in this photo we are with the TNCA Official Scorer Mr. Manikantan of Salem District.
