In Tamil nadu, District Cricket Associations conduct cricket matches on league basis.At present Trichy District has 5 divisions each division comprises of 10 teams and those 10 teams would play amongst each other.The 2 top teams of the division would be promoted to upper division and the last two teams would be relegated to next lower division. The winners and runners would be given trophies. This tournament would be played through out the year.
